Dholera Renew Power, Dholera’s renewable energy initiative, is an integral component of their commitment to green & sustainable development. At the core of Renew Power is Dholera Solar Park – India’s largest solar park project with an expected capacity of 5,000MW which will supply clean renewable energy not only to Dholera but also its neighboring regions.
Dholera is also exploring wind energy potential to complement their solar efforts, creating a mixed renewable energy zone. These projects will not only supply power to DSIR but will help India meet national renewable energy goals while decreasing its reliance on fossil fuels.
Why Dholera is Ideal for Renewable Energy
Dholera’s geographic and environmental advantages make it an ideal location for renewable energy projects. The region features high solar irradiance year-round, which facilitates efficient solar power production. Furthermore, its relatively flat terrain facilitates large-scale solar farms.
Dholera Renew Power will play an instrumental role in meeting India’s goal of 450 GW of renewable energy by 2030 through its proximity to coastal regions which offer ideal wind speeds for effective wind power production. The Dholera Solar Park
One of the standout projects of Dholera Renew Power initiative is the Dholera Solar Park. Spanning an area of over 11,000 hectares, this solar park aims to become one of the world’s largest solar power generating units; each phase of development adds significant capacity to the grid.
Once operational, the Dholera Solar Park will produce thousands of megawatts of clean energy, significantly reducing carbon emissions in its region and fulfilling Indian government goals for its National Solar Mission to increase solar energy production nationwide.

Wind Power Opportunities in Dholera
