Dholera Renew Power
Overview of Dholera Renew Power
Dholera Renew Power, Dholera’s renewable energy initiative, is an integral component of their commitment to green & sustainable development. At the core of Renew Power is Dholera Solar Park (DSP) – India’s largest solar park project with an expected capacity of 5,000 MW, which will supply clean renewable electricity not only to DSIR but also to neighboring regions including Ahmedabad and Rajasthan.
Dholera is also exploring wind electric supply potential to complement their solar efforts, creating a mixed renewable energy zone. These projects will not only supply power to DSIR but will help India meet national renewable electric supply goals while decreasing reliance on fossil fuels. Supported by the Government of India and the Solar Energy Corporation of India, this project will introduce new benchmarks for energy production.
Total Capacity and Solar Energy Corporation of India
Dholera’s target total capacity contributes to the national goal, under the guidance of Solar Energy Corporation of India and renewable electricity leaders such as Sumant Sinha, fostering India’s electricity transition.
Renewable Energy Producers and Third Parties
The project also welcomes renewable electricity producers and third parties to contribute through innovative partnerships that support solar and wind expansion.
At Mirrikh Infratech, we are committed to developing innovative infrastructure solutions with sustainable practices in mind, with renewable energy at the forefront of our vision. The Dholera Renew Power initiative forms part of Dholera Special Investment Region’s (DSIR) plans to become a global hub for smart cities and sustainable living environments. With rising demand for clean energy projects, Dholera stands ready to lead India’s green revolution as a pioneering force in India’s renewable electric supply journey.

Dholera's Renewable Energy (Gujarat, 450 gw, Jaipur-Rajasthan Grid, Several Crores Investment)
Dholera’s geographic and environmental advantages make it an ideal location for renewable electricity projects. The region features high solar irradiance year-round, which facilitates efficient photovoltaic (solar) power production. Furthermore, its relatively flat terrain supports development of photovoltaic farms over thousands of acres.
Dholera Renew Power will play an instrumental role in meeting India’s goal of 450 GW of renewable electricity by 2030. Its coastal proximity supports optimal wind speeds for electric supply harvesting. This also contributes to photovoltaic module manufacturing and overall photovoltaic manufacturing operations, with a focus on innovation and reliability.
Employment Opportunities and Art Technology
The region is expected to create employment opportunities while integrating art technology for hybrid systems of photovoltaic and wind power.
Jaipur Plant and Cell Line Innovation
With support from photovoltaic manufacturing hubs like the Jaipur plant, DSIR also promotes advanced cell line production and photovoltaic cell technology with hotspot resistance features.
The Dholera Solar Park
One of the standout projects of the Dholera Renew resource initiative is the DSP. Spanning over 11,000 hectares (approx. 27,000 acres), this solar park aims to become one of the world’s largest solar resource-generating units. Each phase of development adds significant capacity to the grid.
Once operational, the DSP will produce thousands of megawatts of clean energy (MW), significantly reducing carbon emissions and supporting the National Solar Mission. It also supports photovoltaic module manufacturing and is expected to attract investments worth several crores.
Module Manufacturing Facility and Annual Capacity
The park will feature a cutting-edge module manufacturing facility with high annual capacity targets for large-scale electricity production. Dholera’s growth includes full-spectrum photovoltaic manufacturing operations and integrated electricity storage solutions to maintain steady electricity distribution.

Wind Power Opportunities in Dholera
Dholera’s renewable electricity plans extend beyond photovoltaic, with major investments in wind resources. Coastal wind patterns offer consistent electricity, allowing wind turbines to generate stable supply throughout the year.
Hybrid Systems with Modules
Wind power complements Dholera’s photovoltaic modules, offering hybrid electricity systems that reduce dependency on fossil fuels. With transmission links to Rajasthan and potential interest from global decarbonisation solutions providers like Microsoft and Google, Dholera’s wind investments are globally significant.
Infrastructure and Grid Connectivity: Dholera Renew Power
Renewable energy requires robust infrastructure and grid connectivity for efficient distribution. The DSIR has invested in upgrading electric supply lines and substations to distribute electric supply efficiently.
DSIR will develop advanced electric supply transmission lines to integrate photovoltaic and wind electricity into the national grid. This makes the region electricity independent, with electric supply to Ahmedabad, Rajasthan, and beyond.
