Dholera International Airport Project Update
The construction of International Airport is progressing on 1426 hectares of government land. The project includes two runways (3200m and 4000m) and is owned by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). Operations will be managed by the Dholera International Airport Company Ltd. (DIACL), under the Government of Gujarat (GoG).
The terminal building and passenger terminal building will be state-of-the-art.
A third runway and ATC tower are part of the third development phase.
Estimated cost: ₹1,305 crore.
The first phase is expected to be ready by December 2025/2026.
Contractor: Yashnand Engineers – the lowest bidder for the ₹Rs crore contract.
The site clearance has been completed, and the cargo complex, taxiways, and aprons are being planned to meet aviation specifications.
